A book cover design concept for the popular book “I Am Legend” by Richard Matheson.

The theme of fear and loneliness was emphasized, using a cool blue to evoke sadness, with the character watching for trouble outside. The limited imagery gives your imagination a chance to fill in the blanks and possibly peak your curiosity.

Gran Turismo Cover Redesign

Redesigning for Gran Tursimo turned out to be the quest for symbolism. Everything
racing is and stands for had to be combined: speed, precision, competition, adrenaline,
and the feeling of being completely focused on your next step of action. The design had
to appeal to gear heads and casual racers, as GT has both simulation
and arcade game play.

The solution was to use the form of a wheel, and extend its meaning by radiating tightly
spaced lines, and yellow road markers to bring out precision, energy, and
speed, respectively.

The Gran Turismo glyph (GT) was created at an angle to show speed, and an angular,
connected form to give a sense of adrenaline. The negative space in between the G and
T can also be seen as a road. Solid and bold; blue and red were chosen for the full
word mark and are commonly used car paint colours.

Boris The Grizzly

A conceptual clothing line for youngsters. Boris is a Canadian grizzly bear, a goalie no less. A bright colour scheme and loose line work help bring energy to the piece.
